This month's table is centered around slow evenings, steak with chimichurri, a chilled martini, and conversations that linger well after the dinner is complete. This month's tablescape embraces quiet simplicity: linen, candlelight, and a simple layered place setting. Most often, this is how you will find my table set, even on ordinary evenings. 

Pour yourself The Haus Martini, light the candle, and put on one of my cooking playlists. To me, this is almost more fun than the dinner party itself.

 

You can also make The Haus Martini a mocktail version. Omit the vodka. Add your other ingredients to a glass and top with LaCroix Lemon Sparkling Water. 

In order for you to 'BE MY GUEST', it's only fitting that I also give you the side dish recipes that I would cook alongside the steak with chimichurri. The recipe you received for the chimichurri makes quite a bit. We store and use the remaining throughout the rest of the week. Ive used this for tacos, taco bowls, over skirt steak. The possibilities are really endless. You can also drizzle over the scallops too if you are a fan of the flavor. However, I do recommend trying the scallops on their own to really appreciate the buttery flavor.

I am a visual learner and appreciate videos so I hope you enjoy. 

I also prefer to cook my steaks on a cast iron pan but that is personal preference. I've do think that they cook more evenly.
